People returning from incarceration face barriers to employment that begin before the job search. Most applications, housing systems, and services are now online. Without a device, those systems are not accessible.

We’re raising $2,500 to fund 5 devices for participants in our program.

The unemployment rate for people returning from incarceration is significantly higher than average, and more than 80 percent of living-wage jobs now expect some level of digital literacy.

Access to technology is no longer optional. It determines whether someone can engage with the systems that support stability and employment. Each device directly supports someone working to access employment, housing, and essential services.
